So you guys know about Illustrator, it's this software just like Photoshop but different features. In my time of Digital Design & Animation 1, I've learned different techniques on how to use illustrator, for example the pen tool, the pen tool is like the name a tool that is used to create different shapes and patterns for you to customize. The pen tool is really really useful when you need to create shapes in some type of format for example you just equip the pen tool and click 4 corners and you make a square. Another tool I've learned over illustrator is the mesh tool, the mesh tool is a tool that makes you create your own gradient. You just click on a certain spot in the shape or pattern you created and then you just choose a color for you to do a gradient with and then you have a gradient. Here's an example of me using the pen tool to create a pizza, i used different shapes to create the crust then made triangles and circles to make the pepperoni's as well as the olives, i also added pineapples because pineapple does belong on pizza on i don't care what anyone says. I also added green peppers to the slice of pizza because peppers are also good on pizza too, i made the peppers with long rectangle shapes. Then i just added the color green to them and put them on the pizza. Right now in the class i just finished making a cheese burger with just illustrator, but i don't have the picture of the burger with me. But with the burger i added everything a burger should have. The Bread, the patty's, CHEESE, and lettuce. Also in that project i used the mesh tool to create gradient's to the shapes to make them look more realistic. -Illustrator as the same price as Photoshop -Same mechanics -Pretty much do anything as well -2 main tools used were pen tool & mesh tool
